I’ve made an event ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! )

January 20th at 7:00pm at Granville Island Brewing. I am using a third party event hosting engine. I will also copy the details here if you don’t want to use it, but Kinja sucks at coordinating things.

Secondary Event (Lookin’ at cars) 6pm: Lowest underground level of the parkade accessed off Old Bridge Street, approximate address is 1450 Old Bridge Street. Just keep driving down until you hit the bottom. Very deserted and covered in case of rain. Over height and alternate parking across the street on Old Bridge Street.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is a cool place with free parking after 7pm, fairly quiet at night, lots of beer and centrally located.

Ahhhh Vancouver!

Went there a year ago and absolutely loved it. Beautiful city in a beautiful spot.

Prob won’t be able to get there tho. But I’m looking forward to the pics.

Ok! I’ll update the above. I also may invite one or two FP lurkers who I know live locally and don’t seem like serial killers.

I’m going to try some third party site to set up the event. Kinja isn’t very friendly for stuff like this.

There is a above ground lot right across the street, we’ll use that as alternative/over height parking.

Gotta do this in the summer time! I would love to make a nice road trip from Los Angeles up to Seattle and Vancouver but it would DEFINITELY be in the warmer months so that I could enjoy it top down in the Miata. I would still do it top down in the Miata in the winter, it would just be less enjoyable lol. Although any sort of cold/snow wouldnt end well with summer tires.

Cheers for taking the initiative to plan something like this! I’m heading out of town on the 5th of January for a new job, unfortunately, and I don’t think I’ll be able to get away so soon. The summer meet idea kicking around in the comments though, that sounds like a fun time.

I was hoping things would work out, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like I will be able to make it. I’m disappointed, I was looking forward to meeting some Oppos in person.
